An Island Shaped by the Kuroshio
Green Island lies about 33 kilometers southeast of Taiwan. Covering roughly 16 square kilometers and ringed by coral reefs, it is Taiwan's seventh-largest island. The warm Kuroshio Current supports diverse fish, corals and invertebrates, while each coastline has its own underwater terrain.
- Air temperature: 21–30°C
- Water temperature: approximately 21–28°C
- Visibility is often around 25–30 meters
- Southerly winds are common from April to August; the northeast monsoon prevails from October to March
- April to October is usually the main dive season; dives may also be arranged in other months when conditions allow
