Getting to Green Island

The most common route is to travel through Taitung to Fugang Fishing Harbor, then take a ferry to Nanliao Harbor on Green Island. Small aircraft also fly from Taitung Airport.

Two Routes to Blue Safari

Depart from Taitung Railway Station or Taitung Airport. After reaching Green Island by ferry or plane, meet the Blue Safari transfer staff as arranged.

  • Confirm the ferry or flight date, time, check-in location and ticket collection method
  • Watch the weather, sea conditions and last-minute operator notices; arrive early and leave enough time between connections
  • Travelers prone to seasickness should ask a doctor or pharmacist about suitable preparation
  • Save Blue Safari's contact details, your diving information and accommodation address on your phone
  • If you have arranged a transfer from Nanliao Harbor or Green Island Airport, confirm the meeting time and how to identify the driver

After Arriving at Green Island

Getting Around the IslandRequirements and rules for renting scooters, electric scooters or cars are set by each operator and the applicable regulations.
Dive ScheduleComplete check-in and equipment confirmation first. Dive sites and times may still change with the day's sea conditions.
Flying After Diving
Do not fly immediately after diving. Tell us your return travel plans and timing when booking, and allow the required no-fly interval based on your dive computer, training standards and professional advice.
