Before Going into the Water

Clear explanations before the dive make it easier to relax and communicate in the water.

Equipment and BreathingLearn the basic uses of regulators, masks, and buoyancy devices, and practice steady breathing.
Underwater Hand SignalsLearn simple standard hand signals so you can tell your instructor how you feel.
Movement and ComfortPractice maintaining a comfortable position, changing direction and adapting at your own pace.

After Going into the Water

Once you are comfortable underwater, follow your instructor to explore the reef and have your underwater experience captured in photos.
